UPDATE: May 30, 2012, unfortunately Sheriff Mack lost to Lamar Smith, who won with 76% of the vote Tuesday, May 29th, 2012, is the Texas Primary, and the long-awaited challenge to Congressman Lamar Smith SOPA Author (which is now CISPA),by Constitutional Sheriff Mack.  Between 7 AM and 7 PM Texas voters, who can find their polling location HERE, will decide whether to FIRE the author of SOPA, the original internet censorship and internet control bill, Lamar Smith, who has “served” since 1987 (25 years), and VOTED YES ON Patriot Act, NDAA, and other Internet Censorship related legislation, or keep the chains of tyranny strong (Source for Votes) Note: The election between Congressman Lamar Smith and Sheriff Richard Mack is only Congressional District 21, there will also be other District elections (other Texas Liberty Candidates) & the Presidential Election between Congressman Ron Paul and Mitt Romney occurring. Differences between Lamar Smith and Constitutional Sheriff Mack: Republican and Voting for a Republican: Sheriff Mack is what I and others call a REAL Republican, someone who is supposed to stand for the Constitution, or conserving the Constitution. Lamar Smith is what many would call a RINO, or a Republican-in-name-only. As you know or will [...]

Veterans for Ron Paul March for Liberty

“Peace, Commerce, and Honest Friendship with All Nations-Entangling Alliances with None” Thomas Jefferson Veterans for Ron Paul filled the streets of Washington D.C. on President’s Day, February 20th, 2012, in support of the Constitution and a Constitutional Foreign policy, and in memory of the men and women who gave their lives in defense of liberty over the past 11 years. With close to 9000 Military deaths, over 40,000 injuries, many more thousands suffering through PTSD, and thousands more in innocent civilian deaths (Americans and Foreign citizens), Adam Kokesh, Nathan Cox, and other Veterans took it upon themselves to bring attention to the crisis we are facing.  A prayer and moment of silence, along with a salute opposite to the face of the White House, at the length of a second for every soldier that has died due to War and war-related illness under the Obama Administration, occurred and was carried out by the 600+ Active Duty/Retired/Reserve Veterans. Close to, if not over a thousand, Constitution/Ron Paul/ Peace/ Free Market supporters also filled the streets in support of the troops and the message they not only fought for, but were marching for and conveyed with their passion. Shouts and passionate speeches were given on [...]

Utah, Food Freedom, and the Nullification Doctrine

Senator Casey Anderson sponsored Utah Legislature Bill SB 0034, which restores the Constitution in relation to regulation of food in Utah and is a great example of the Nullification Doctrine. This bill can also be seen as a potential victory for the food freedom movement.  Quoted directly from the Bill  general description,  “This bill prohibits federal regulation of an agricultural product that remains in Utah after it is made, grown, or produced in Utah, and addresses the designation of a Utah agricultural product.” This bill has reached a critical stage in the process to becoming law, soon to be voted on, and that is greatly in thanks to Senator Casey Anderson and the Utah Tenth Amendment Center. I’d advocate visiting the Tenth Amendment Center website for great Constitution info and Tenth amendment related current events. Senator Casey Anderson and the Utah Tenth Amendment Center argued that the supreme law of the land is the Constitution, which Federal Law should be based around, and that because of this, Federal regulation in State Agriculture is unconstitutional because the Federal Government only has the authority to regulate interstate commerce, not intrastate commerce. Intrastate Commerce refers to commerce within the state, while interstate commerce refers to commerce between [...]
