Return of The Tenther, Arizona’s Nullification Amendment

In the Summer of 1798, the Alien and Sedition Acts were signed into law by a then President, John Adams. The Acts criminalized any criticism of the current government, its politicians, its actions, and delivered the authority for the president to deport and declare an enemy, any resident of the United States. To add, these acts were signed into law by President Adams the day before his term was to end.  Thomas Jefferson and James Madison opposed the Alien and Sedition Acts, and sought to effectively nullify them within the Kentucky and Virginia Resolutions, respectively. Jefferson and Madison, Tenthers, reminded America of the right of a free people and state to nullification, the right to declare “NO”, and accomplished that within their respective State Resolutions. Put more clearly, Nullification is the right of a state and free people to invalidate a law, in this instance, a federal law,  that is deemed unconstitutional or in violation of natural rights. That same Right of Nullification that was called upon by Jefferson and Madison has been called upon in Arizona. As the Tenth Amendment Center reports, Arizonan and Business man Jack Biltis has delivered around 320,000 signatures to the Arizona Secretary of State [...]

Anti NDAA Nation Zooms in on Arizona

As calls for Liberty spread and strengthen across the Nation, many States are taking aim at the National Defense Authorization Act provisions which seek to lay waste to the Constitution. Here are just some of the violations of the NDAA in regards to the Constitution-the SUPREME law of the land: Violates United States Constitution Article 1 Section 9 Clause 2: NDAA denies right to Habeas Corpus, a writ by which an individual can be released from unlawful detention Violates United States Constitution Article 3 Section 3:  NDAA authorizes indefinite detention against Article 3 Section 3 which provides those charged with treason heightened due process protections Violates United States Constitution Amendment 4: NDAA Authorizes indefinite detention and before amended, authorized the detainment of citizens even after an Innocent verdict from a Jury, against the Fourth Amendment right to be free from unreasonable seuizeure Violates United States Constitution Amendment 5: NDAA Detainment provisions violate Amendment 5 right of prohibition of deprivations of liberty without due process Violates United States Constitution Amendment 6:  NDAA Detainment Provisions violate Amendment [...]

Martin Sepulveda, Constitutional Candidate for Arizona CD9

On Monday, I received a call and exciting news for Arizona on a Constitutional Candidate running for election in Arizona Congressional District 9, Martin Sepulveda.  With election 2012 grabbing the attention of voters and Patriots around the Country, the seat for the President isn’t the only one in dispute. Around the Country, Constitutional Candidates are being elected and placed against establishment Republicans and establishment Democrats in an effort for true Liberty Candidates and a REAL approach to the economic situation created by BIG government. Many individuals are tired of voting down the party line (thankfully), and are now returning to voting on issues.  The surprising call I received, was not with a secretary, or an office, but a direct phone call with Martin Sepulveda, a seventh generation Arizonan and Veteran who proceeded to answer my questions.  See, I sent out emails and calls to many of the various campaigns on three issues: Federal Reserve Fiat Currency, Keynesian “philosophy”, and Trillions of Dollars in Debt Anti-Rights bills such as NDAA Indefinite Detention, Patriot Act, CISPA, HR 347 Bringing the Troops home, Endless & Unconstitutional War, Massive economic cost  Some of the campaigns responded back with emails, others not at all, and one with [...]
