"Since when is it considered intelligent to take a medicine, and not appropriate a specific dosage, but insert it in the water supply, where individual consumption and individual reaction can be so varied and can’t be tracked (this isn’t an argument to start tracking people either)?"

Makes sense Ahmed. Just because Type II diabetes is a growing epidemic doesn't mean the government should start genetically engineering shots of insulin into each slice of bread sold. Whether or not someone needs fluorine is highly individualistic, and should be left up to the individual to make sure he or she gets the right amount each day.

Ahmed, I'm right there with you in my dislike of sugar and grain consumption. Both of these can do serious damage to a person's health overtime.

I believe we as individuals must make our own decisions regarding what is right for our lives. The government shouldn't have to act as our parents and tell us what we can and can not eat. It's up to the individual to do their homework, read the research, and form his or her own opinions.

Since November, I've greatly reduced the amount of grains I eat. I can definitely tell a difference (my body looks less bloated, no more flatulence, etc), so I'm really starting to get convinced grains may not be the best thing for humans to eat. Of course this will vary from person-to-person, but grains don't agree with my body.

I and other individuals who may share this problem should use the Government to impose a sugar ban or something related on everyone else. Thanks for the inspiring post..

Common people who are living in freedom from birth can't understand the value of freedom. I think, anyone can't live without freedom. Just what we need to do is, to know more about not only rights but also responsibilities to live in freedom. private school Torrance

I think things are changing. In the past year the Paleo movement seems to have gained huge momentum - I think there are almost too many people with an interest to stop it now.

@ Tom, Admin

Mark is awesome! What he has explained concerning grains/sugar is right on. Some of the studies that he has mentioned is also noteworthy with respect to meat. The consumption of meat is getting a bad rap because the studies are misleading with variables that are not being considered. Ex) Animals that are grain fed, laced with antibiotics, stuffed with growth hormones, will in fact cause health problems (fungi/mycotoxins). Grass fed animals without all the other junk does not fuel sickness, disease, cancer, etc.

Now with that being said, the medical field describes uric acid : “Gout occurs due to an excess of the bodily waste uric acid, which is eventually deposited as needle-like crystals in the joints or in soft tissue. These crystals can cause intermittent swelling, redness, heat, pain and stiffness in the joints”.

Bodily waste? In reality, uric acid is a corrosive substance and we humans cannot make it-so it isn’t “bodily” at all! Drug marketers are either hiding these facts from you, or it is entirely possible that they truly may be ignorant of the facts. Guess what does make uric acid? Fungus!

Great article!

Nullification does exist and has been used, and while you say there's a possibility of segregation by nullification, seeing as it's happened before, segregation by law and slavery by law have already existed as well.

It's much easier to influence a State Government than it is the Federal Government, so while a tyrannical law like segregation may pass (very low chance IMO), the people will have a much easier time of repealing it.

But nullification also allows for the people to nullify from tyrannical laws, not just nullify *into* tyrannical laws, and I would say, most small Government supporters of this support it to move away from rights-violations, not closer.

If nullification in America existed, there would still be slavery, or at least segregation.
