The No Texting While Walking Law is a Threat to the Law

Fort Lee, New Jersey, recently expanded the Nanny State by passing a “No Texting While Walking” Law and sending police after citizens to fine them $85 per “offense” (truly there is no offense besides the use of force against peaceful citizens). “It’s a big distraction. Pedestrians aren’t watching where they’re going. They’re not aware,” Fort Lee Police Department (FLPD) Chief Thomas Ripoli said at a news conference [Source] From the various articles and websites this story has spread to, we can extrapolate that the police are actually taking this “law” seriously, already handing out over a 100 tickets to these citizens and showing no signs of stopping. With Fort Lee’s 16 robberies, 18 assaults, 42 burglaries, 262 thefts, 16 auto-thefts, and 1 arson in 2010 [Source], it’s obvious that the best use of Police Force is to harass citizens who are walking on streets they paid for while using phones they purchased from private companies (sarcasm). By now, you can probably tell I do not just see this as just another law. It’s a complete violation of the law by every sense of the word. For the law to operate correctly, in a civilized society, the citizens would offer their respect for [...]

Anti NDAA Nation Zooms in on Arizona

As calls for Liberty spread and strengthen across the Nation, many States are taking aim at the National Defense Authorization Act provisions which seek to lay waste to the Constitution. Arizona, which has successfully passed the NDAA Nullification Bill in the house and senate, now waits to see if Governor Brewer will sign or veto the bill. Here are just some of the violations of the NDAA in regards to the Constitution-the SUPREME law of the land: Violates United States Constitution Article 1 Section 9 Clause 2: NDAA denies right to Habeas Corpus, a writ by which an individual can be released from unlawful detention Violates United States Constitution Article 3 Section 3:  NDAA authorizes indefinite detention against Article 3 Section 3 which provides those charged with treason heightened due process protections Violates United States Constitution Amendment 4: NDAA Authorizes indefinite detention and before amended, authorized the detainment of citizens even after an Innocent verdict from a Jury, against the Fourth Amendment right to be free from unreasonable seuizeure Violates United States Constitution Amendment 5: NDAA Detainment provisions violate Amendment 5 right of prohibition of deprivations of liberty without due process Violates United States Constitution Amendment 6:  NDAA Detainment Provisions violate Amendment [...]

Don’t Tread on the Internet & Don’t Tread on Me

CISPA, the new internet Censorship bill, is already being met with massive protest. Mashable, Digital Trends, and many others have began the spread of information across the very internet Congress is attempting to censor, ironically highlighting the reasoning behind the bill, and the need for the FREE INTERNET.  This internet censorship bill is different than SOPA in that it attempts to deliver power over the internet and free speech to government under the guise of “protection” by forcing and allowing companies to give YOUR private information to government. I guess that’s why this bill is “coincidentally” coinciding with the NSA’s construction of a million square foot spying facility for Americans.  But I write about this today not to fear monger, or to scare you into blind submission and agreement, but as a call to action, similar to that of the force that STOPPED SOPA, the previous internet censorship bill. YES, HUMAN ACTION WORKS, especially with the politicians who believe we the people are asleep, and that is perfectly exemplified when a bill goes viral, and there is a massive and strong NO! in time.    Over the past few months, those who have paid attention to the “work” congress has been [...]

STOP Internet Censorship in Arizona

The Internet Censorship Bill has just arrived on the desk of Governor Jan Brewer of Arizona, under the title H.B. 2549, and as a resident of Arizona, a lover of the CONSTITUTION, the FIRST AMENDMENT, and someone who constantly pays attention to Arizona and National politics, I can tell you that this bill was held under the radar and pushed through without any prior knowledge.  I am calling all Free Speech activists to immediately call first, Governor Jan Brewer, then Arizona Representatives and Senators, and tell them that this bill, H.B. 2549, is a clear violation of the Constitution of the United States, the natural rights of citizens, and a gross representation of how far the Constitutional violations have gone. Make it clear, if the respective representative and/or senator does not publicly denounce and stand against this bill, THEY WILL BE VOTED OUT and ALL Financial/Activist support for their campaigns from those who stand for the Constitution and against this bill will immediately STOP.  This is not just an Arizona issue, this is a FREE SPEECH, Constitutional, First Amendment, Moral, Logical, and Philosophical issue. The incrementalism that has plagued our country and degraded the Constitution of the United States can not continue, [...]

Legalize Raw Milk and End the FDA

Two California residents and Legalize Raw Milk (and hopefully now END THE FDA) enthusiasts have been given a combination of 3 million dollars in bail, over 38 felony counts, and one thrown in jail and tortured for over a week, all for allegedly selling raw milk.  James Stewart, the California resident who was thrown in jail illegally for a week, was tagged with a red band (reminds me of another disgusting identification system circa World War 2), was asked and accused of being a sovereign (a group deemed dangerous), despite never using the words. He was not told what his charges were and underwent what James phrased as, “mental and physical torture”. “The most basic principle to being a free American is the notion that we as individuals are responsible for our own lives and decisions. We do not have the right to rob our neighbors to make up for our mistakes, neither does our neighbor have any right to tell us how to live, so long as we aren’t infringing on their rights. Freedom to make bad decisions is inherent in the freedom to make good ones. If we are only free to make good decisions, we are not really [...]
