On January 19th, 2013, New York gun owners and Patriots gathered outside the state capitol to protest against Governor Cuomo’s February 15th signing of gun “control” legislation, which effectively
- banned the purchase of semiautomatic rifles
- required the sale or registration of guns with government
- criminalized carrying more than 7 bullets in a magazine
- encouraged and required doctors to report gun owners to police
- gave ammo to current and future tyrants seeking to further diminish the Rights of the individual

Alongside governor cuomo, Senator Dianne Feinstein and numerous Feds joyfully announced their plans to:
- brainwash the American people into thinking guns are the problem
- require mental health checks against gun owners
- deputize doctors to report gun owners to police
- require the registration of guns into a national government database
- restrict and eventually outlaw manufacturing, distribution, purchase, and ownership of ammo and guns

What these delusional & transparently tyrannical collectivists did not anticipate enough was the blowback. Millions of gun owners and civil Liberty activists were and are furious that the government has threatened them with arrest, confiscation, & more bluntly, complete tyranny, simply for practicing their natural right to gun ownership, which was simply enumerated-not created- within the Constitution.
I say “did not anticipate enough” lightly, because it is obvious that obama did anticipate this, or he wouldn’t have put useless VPOTUS biden & various federal agencies (even Fast and Furious mastermind Holder) at the “forefront” of his gun confiscation committee.
And it is obvious Harry Reid did anticipate this, having conspired the same legislation earlier in his political “career”, because he has hidden himself and carefully placed Senator Diane Feinstein at the forefront of gun confiscation within the Senate.
Gun owners and patriots have long been tired of the various pieces of tyrannical legislation faced since the horrific attacks on September 11th , whether it be the TSA, the NDAA, or the Patriot Act; the list of immoral legislation includes laws that affect every American in the country. And now that threats against gun owners and a natural Right of the individual have been renewed, Americans across the country are refusing to budge one more inch on their Rights.

There can be little compromise between individuals who wish to control their own lives and those who seek to control and endanger the lives of others, because if there is, it is no longer compromise, but instead, tyranny.
Gun owners in New York and around the country have drawn their line in the sand, and despite facing jail time for not registering weapons, have announced plans for protests against gun registration and confiscation across February and across the States.
The most anticipated rally will likely be on Saturday, February 23rd, the day after George Washington’s birthday, in which gun owners and patriots plan to rally outside state capitols across the country.

New York Gun Owners have courageously taken the necessary step to announce a complete boycott and nullification of registration of their guns with the government. And national polls indicate the same level of resistance around the country, with a recent poll claiming 2/3 or more gun owners would completely defy any federal ban.
The blowback is exemplified by plans of protest, plans and carry-out of nullification, 13 states and growing with legislation to nullify federal gun laws, sheriffs refusing to enforce gun laws, rallys across the country, attendance records being broken at gun shows, and sold out gun and ammunition retailers.
And the support behind guns only grows as tyrants within government continue threats of gun confiscation and harass gun owners and the Rights of individuals. CBS’s “let’s give up on the Constitution” segment was carefully planned to be released while gun rights are under assault. Notorious mayor of gun-control capital Chicago, which also happens to have one of the highest murder and crime rates in the country, announced his plans to pressure banks to refuse business with gun owners, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers. Diane Feinstein continues to blame the outcry of Americans against gun confiscation on the NRA. New York Mayor Bloomberg’s gestapo have started using “gun scanners” on the public. The disgusting hypocrisy of these tyrants is clear, and grows clearer by the day to Americans around the country. What they seem to not realize is that business was not done with gun owners and manufacturers before there was a demand for guns by the population. The NRA and Gun Owners of America are not powerful simply because of their names, but because of the support they received and continue to receive that has delivered these organizations to their current status.
And while on one hand these men and women-who have sworn an Oath to defend the Constitution-claim their totalitarian assault on the Rights of Americans is “for the good and safety of the people & protection of their freedom”, federal departments order thousands of rifles and bullets, New York police are exempted from Cuomo’s dictates by selective enforcement, feds are exempted from gun control & confiscation by Senator Feinstein, militarized police drills are carried out above cities like Miami, and drones funded by stolen taxpayer dollars fund the deaths of many every day.
As Gary North points out, Americans are witnessing one of the most interesting periods of American history, one in which the acts of civil disobedience and displays of courage that founded this country are re-occurring.
The spark that these threats and carry-out of gun “control”, gun confiscation, and gun banning have caused is one that cannot be stopped. With every tyrannical action carried out by the feds, ideas spread quicker and further among the American people, and while the government maintains its monopoly on force, the American people realize their Right of choice, of cooperation, and to resist.
Just as the Feds have nearly diminished all value in the dollar by printing and spending well beyond logical, moral, and legal bounds, they diminish the value of law by dictating in abundance beyond logical, moral, and legal bounds.
Every movement has a tipping point, and if gun confiscation is the line Americans have drawn in the sand, it could surely be the tipping point that inspires Americans to reclaim their liberty across the spectrum, and eventually force repeals of not only gun “control”, but NDAA, the Patriot Act, the TSA, spying, raids and more.
