Ron Paul, The Real Republican Elephant

UPDATE, August 28, 2012:

RON PAUL, THE REAL REPUBLICAN ELEPHANT

The Republican party is often symbolized by an Elephant, a symbol that has many meanings when asking different people and different generations.

But when I take that infamous Elephant into consideration, and I think of the nominees presented at the Republican National Convention of 2012, Mitt Romney and Ron Paul, I realize the true symbolism provided by the Republican Elephant.

The Elephant symbolizes the TRUTH. The Republican Elephant is the “ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM”, the ignored truth in the room, in society.

The TRUTH about the TRUTH, is that regardless of the rewards, consequences, emotions, drama, and POLITICS, the TRUTH is still the TRUTH.

The Republican Elephant and the RNC Nominee are supposed to be principled, supposed to stand their ground, supposed to shout and propagate the truth, EVEN IF THAT MEANS BEING “THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM”.

RON PAUL IS THAT REPUBLICAN ELEPHANT.

I ask you today, Delegates and Citizens, to truly think about that, to assess how much you truly care for what you say you care about, to think about the TRUTH, and to also ask yourself,

Will electing a RINO to beat a DONKEY solve the problem that in these times,  only an ELEPHANT can solve?

UPDATE: August 28, 2012: Various States nominate Ron Paul on floor, ALL announce recorded votes for Ron Paul post-RNC rule changes stripping Paul delegates, RNC refuses to announce Ron Paul Delegate Totals in Roll Call, and instead, only name Mitt Romney totals. Convention floor consistently broke out in applause and chants behind every Ron Paul announcement during the Roll Call, even with the States only announcing 1 Delegate Vote for Ron Paul. Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan announced RNC POTUS, VPOTUS nominees, respectively. Ron Paul R3VOLUTION GROWS AND CONTINUES ON.

UPDATE August 28,2012: RON PAUL ENTERS RNC FLOOR TO “RON PAUL” CHANTS!

The Republican National Convention of 2012 is upon us, and to the surprise of no one, the RNC and the Romney campaign are using authoritarian methods in an attempt to shut out Ron Paul supporters and delegates, and any future grassroots candidates within the nomination process.

The RNC and Romney campaign are openly defending changing the official rules, MID-ELECTION, MID-CONVENTION, to give the RNC ultimate executive authority over which State-party delegates and selections are to be accepted, and which are not, according to obedience to RNC-backed nominee (in this case, Romney).

Because of the uproar from joint Republican, TEA Party, Ron Paul Republican, and Libertarian grassroots activists against Rule 15 and the Establishment Anti-Grassroots efforts, the RNC  and Romney campaign agreed to revoke the rule changes which delivered  itself authority to disavow Delegates.

Though, the RNC and Romney Campaign will still maintain the authority to disavow any delegates who vote for nominees other than those they are bound to, unless unbound from their respective State victor.

Uproar at the convention itself (there was much before) seems to have began when Texas GOP revolted against the rule changes and authoritarian measures, then followed by other State GOP such as Virginia and Maine.

At one point, 2012 Republican National Convention Delegates aggregated around a large “WE CAN DO BETTER” sign in the Tampa Convention center, when Delegates began to hold up “Ron Paul, Ron Paul Revolution, End The Fed” signs [PHOTO].

Even more, various conversations on National Media with Delegates say Ron Paul and TEA party grassroots Delegates were even being joined by Romney Delegates in their resistance.

Currently, the RNC and Romney campaign claim that their authoritarian efforts are over with, and a Georgia Delegate has read over the proposed “compromise” and said it appears fine for now. Yet, reports from around Tampa via RNC Delegates claim the RNC is plotting late night, early morning rule changes, and is attempting to fool and trick Republicans into their agenda.

Shady and background tactics by the RNC and Romney campaign going viral may also be delivering credence to the theory that a Ron Paul RNC Floor Nomination will be attempted. Delegates from across the spectrum, both Paul and Romney supporters, cite a possible floor revolt as necessary if the aforementioned tyrannical rule changes are only signs of things to come with a Romney administration.

TAKE ACTION:

I think I will not vote. I don’t like all of the candidates, I’m sorry I can not force myself to like either one of them.
