On Monday, I received a call and exciting news for Arizona on a Constitutional Candidate running for election in Arizona Congressional District 9, Martin Sepulveda.
With election 2012 grabbing the attention of voters and Patriots around the Country, the seat for the President isn’t the only one in dispute. Around the Country, Constitutional Candidates are being elected and placed against establishment Republicans and establishment Democrats in an effort for true Liberty Candidates and a REAL approach to the economic situation created by BIG government. Many individuals are tired of voting down the party line (thankfully), and are now returning to voting on issues.
The surprising call I received, was not with a secretary, or an office, but a direct phone call with Martin Sepulveda, a seventh generation Arizonan and Veteran who proceeded to answer my questions.
See, I sent out emails and calls to many of the various campaigns on three issues:
- Federal Reserve Fiat Currency, Keynesian “philosophy”, and Trillions of Dollars in Debt
- Anti-Rights bills such as NDAA Indefinite Detention, Patriot Act, CISPA, HR 347
- Bringing the Troops home, Endless & Unconstitutional War, Massive economic cost
Some of the campaigns responded back with emails, others not at all, and one with a direct phone call, Mr. Sepulveda, who has now garnered my support against all other candidates. Now I didn’t ask to “publish” his answers, but by his Confident and Constitutional nature, I can tell he wouldn’t mind at all, and in-fact, would support it. Here’s why he has my support:
1. Federal Reserve, Keynesian Economics, Fiat Currency, DEBT:
Martin believes that an Audit of the Federal Reserve is not enough, and agrees with Representative Ron Paul, Representative Justin Amash, and many others that an END to the Federal Reserve system is justified. It is Unconstitutional and there is no authority for a Central bank within the Constitution. He agreed that the Legalization of Competing Currencies, which would simply legalize the creation of competing currencies such as Gold and Silver, and not eliminate the dollar, would be a great step in the progress towards a Sound currency.

The Federal Reserve’s easy-access-money allows for unlimited funding of any issue, program, or war that the Executive branch and/or Congress wants, and encourages the 15 Trillion dollars in debt and addition to that which is occurring . The Fed’s central planning and policy of artificially manipulating the interest rate tricks businesses and investors into believing there is a much higher amount of savings than there is, encouraging mal-investment and the bubbles, such as experienced with the recent housing bubble.
Mr. Sepulveda’s knowledge of these issues and ardent opposition to them has confirmed to me that he will make a tough and principled stand against the Federal Reserve.
2. Anti-Rights Issues, NDAA, CISPA, Patriot Act, HR 347
Mr. Sepulveda, a Veteran, did not fall for the trick of the “Patriot” Act, and understands that the elimination of the Fourth Amendment was not Patriotic at all. He believes in a Constitutional National Defense, but not the indefinite detention, elimination of a lawyer, jury, and trial for American citizens. He will stand against any and every violation of Free Speech rights, like those presented in CISPA and HR 347. His stand alone knowledge of these various bills, and explanation of why he would stand against them and similar Unconstitutional bills confirms my support in him against Anti-Rights issues.

3. Unconstitutional and Endless War
Martin Sepulveda served in the Marine Core and as a Commander in the Navy Reserve. His long career within the Military isn’t the only trait that separates him from others, it is also his stand against the Unconstitutional and endless wars we are currently in. He understands that continued presence abroad drains the treasury by the Trillions, and serves to unite the enemy and strengthen their cause to add additional enlistments, while endangering and mentally damaging our troops.

His understanding of the Military, strategy, and the Constitution confirms that he will stand against dangerous and damaging foreign deployments, and instead focus on the National Defense and borders of this country. He doesn’t believe the borders of other countries and the wars of other countries are more important than the destruction of our Constitution and our defense occurring in this country.
It is for these reasons that I ask that you support Martin Sepulveda in the election for Arizona’s Congressional District 9, and his Constitutional stand against BIG government.
